Traditional Anatomy & Physiology For Healers

This foundational course is specifically designed for the student who is seeking to build a career, or already has an establish practice in, the integrative health care field. Rukha® presents this unique opportunity as a stand-alone course without registration in the full cohort program. Prospective students to the full Rukha® cohort may wish to take this course alone before beginning the full program. Others may already be working as energy practitioners but have lacked this essential education. And others may simply be interested in learning more about how their body works so that they can maintain optimal health and advocate for themselves in medical situations.

Instead of the intensity of the typical college setting in which students cram 50-60 hours of curriculum into 12 or 16 weeks and cope with challenging required labs, our course is taught by credentialed faculty offering the same college-level standards and the same number of classroom hours. Yet the pace is preferred, with classes meeting one Saturday morning every other month. Instruction is augmented with live webinars between classes. The full course program is completed over the course of two years, meeting a total of ten Saturday mornings and nine one-hour webinars.

In this course, students learn normal anatomy and physiology of the human body. And how homeostasis is maintained. They learn about the energy of the cells and what goes wrong when that cellular energy is interrupted.
The instruction provides the practitioner with critical knowledge which allows them to provide the most professional care to their clients. Armed with this information, the professional practitioner gains credibility and confidence when working with illness, injury and disease.

Logistics and Schedule

This stand-alone course is completed over a two-year period. Instruction is delivered five Saturday mornings every-other month in September, November, January, March and May.

Live one-hour webinars are scheduled during the months between classes and are held from 7-8 P.M on a weeknight. These lectures are audio recorded for future review. Students taking Traditional Anatomy and Physiology (TAP) as a stand-alone course join the Rukha® full cohort for this class only.

Class begins Saturday morning at 8 AM and concludes at noon. TAP students who wish to partake in breakfast or lunch at the retreat center may do so by paying an additional meal fee each class.

On-Campus Training Schedule & Location
